Embark on a journey to relive our culture through “Al Shindagha Days” taking place during the Dubai Shopping Festival on the banks of Dubai Creek.
Experience Al Shindagha Museum area as it comes to life with the scent of the past and pulsates with the splendor of
Emirati heritage from the 9th to 20th of January 2020.
How to reach Al-Shindagha; it was quite difficult for us to find the exact place. In addition to this we were using google map; fortunately it was quite easy just get down to Al Gubaiba metro station take the right exit you can see label Al-Shindagha historical Places follow the sign and walk straight. At the right side there is Historical Document center and right after that perfume house is located. Along with that there is pottery house which is under construction while after ten to fifteen step you will find the main hall for the exhibition.

PEARL LIFE
Exhibition stalls starts from Pearl life; where you can experience how to find the pearl from the shell. these pearls are available for buying purpose as well. You can experience the demo of abstraction of pearl from shell.
TALLI AND KHOUS
Talli stall is the second one; where you can experience how to make different cultural Talli design and experience the material use in it. At talli stall they offered the workshop and demonstration of Talli making. In old ages Talli design used for the sleeves cuff , cuff for pajamas and burqa and many more. In the same stall there was a lady sitting for KHOUS Demonstration. Khous art can be used for the Hand Fans , Can be serve as dish , plate and to cover use as lid.
MEET THE LOCALS
They are local (UAE) Tour Guide ; who revealed the history of Dubai. Visitors enjoy to sit with them and listen to their stories and efforts in towards the development of this country. LOCALS they greet Their guest traditional way by offering them dates and coffee.
POTTERY ART
Pottery Art is located in the main hall. Kids are welcomed to play with the mud to make their own pots by using the old ages machines and instruments of pottery.
COLOURING AND PAINTING SADU:
Dubai culture admire the kids to make colour printing of traditional Sadu design with different colours.
BURQA
Burqa workshop started from the First day; skilled women trained others how to make this burqa and protect the skin from the sun rays in day time.
